CLC offers a wide range of Apprenticeships. We use both traditional and flexible delivery with a blended learning approach to compete with the ever changing climate of training. Teaching sessions can be set up on a one-to-one basis or groups. One-to-one sessions offer intense individual assistance, but group sessions can also be beneficial with decreased economic costs and the sharing of ideas. Delivery is flexible so learners can access their course at any time, this provides the option of attending our virtual classroom which works alongside workplace priorities and different shift patterns.
When you take on an apprentice who is between 16-18 years old at the start of their apprenticeship, you will receive £1000 incentive payment to help meet the extra costs of employing them. This will paid to you in months 3 and 12 via CLC.
There are three levels of apprenticeships available for those aged 16 and over:
Level 2 Apprenticeships – These provide the skills you need for your chosen career and allow entry to an Advanced Apprenticeship.
Level 3 Apprenticeships – To start this apprenticeship, you should ideally have five GCSEs (grade C or above) or have completed a Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship.
Level 4/5 Apprenticeships – These apprenticeships work towards qualifications such as Level 4 Diploma’s and, in some cases, a knowledge-based qualification such as a Higher National Certificate or Diploma. Typical entry requirement is five GCSEs at grade C or above including English and maths.
